IPR's Comprehensive H-2B services
1. Agent Representation
- Interviews with client to acquire information for application procedures
- Accurately complete for client signature government application forms
- Timely file required documents with U.S. government agencies
- Place recruitment advertisements, track, and report recruitment results with the Department of Labor (interviewing performed by client)
- Ongoing communication with all levels of U.S. government agencies involved in application process
- Ongoing client communication throughout application process
- Provide complete approved document package for client's file
2. Embassy and Consulate Representation
- On-site representation at appointed U.S. Embassy
- Schedule appointment(s) for client's group interview with Embassy
- On-site embassy assistance to complete and file H-2B personnel's non-immigrant visa applications
- Offices in Mexico staffed by experienced professionals to resolve challenges with Embassy
3. Recruitment
- Utilizing either our clients' referrals or through IPR's database, IPR currently screens candidates on-site in Mexico and/or Guatemala
4. Employment Support Services
- Translation services
- Throughout the year IPR offers translation services onsite or via telephone including onsite bi-lingual orientation, policies and procedures, and performance related meetings
- Travel Planning
- IPR recommends 1st year H-2B personnel cross the border over land
- IPR coordinates chartered bus services at cost for our clients' personnel
- IPR representatives travel with our clients' personnel while crossing border Mexico/U.S. Border
- Housing and Transportation Assistance
- Housing and transportation are not required to be provided by the employer of H-2B personnel
- IPR facilitates access to Latino community services to acquire housing and transportation
- Social Security Administration (SSA)
- IPR accompanies 1st year H-2B personnel to SSA for social security numbers upon arrival
- Banking and Financial Planning:
IPR assists with financial planning concepts through providing seminars with local bilingual representatives of the financial services community to:
- Establishing bank accounts
- Access to low fee money transfer procedures to families at home
- Access to credit card companies to assist foreign nationals to establish credit in the U.S.
