Client Interviews and Engagement

IPR thoroughly interviews our prospective clients to determine their employment needs, the seasonal nature of their business cycle, their understanding of the H-2B program and the benefits and challenges that the H-2B program involves.

As reviewed in H-2B Defined and Frequently Asked Questions on our site, the most important issues regarding the H-2B involve the seasonality of the business. Businesses with seasonal employment needs of more than ten months may be challenged by the Department of Labor. Secondly, employers attempting to cut their labor costs via the H-2B will not be satisfied for prevailing wages must be paid to participants in the program. Finally, H-2B laborers are almost exclusively non-English speaking. Therefore, the employer must be willing to patiently confront language and communication challenges in exchange for the stable labor force the H-2B program offers.

If, the prospective client's business can benefit from the H-2B program, IPR will proceed with the client through the contract engagement and begin the Filing Process.
